Being back in Germany after a year made me realize quite a few things:
๐ฅจ๐ฅ I have to admit, I missed fresh bread and bakeries more than I thought. While living abroad, I was never one of those Germans desperately searching for German baked goods, let alone baking my own bread. I felt pretty content with toast and bagels. Then I arrived at Frankfurt International Airport, and the delicious smell of freshly baked goods reached my nostrils- what a feeling.
ใฐ๏ธ Germans really donโt know how to properly queue. I was shocked to see how people tried to get into airplanes and buses: instead of lining up, they just push their way through the crowd.
๐ด๐ถBeware of bicycles and pedestrians. While the shoulder check might be somewhat optional elsewhere, it is absolutely mandatory in Germany when riding your bike or driving a car.
