Off to My Kids' School's PTA Meeting- Why YOU Should Know About Different School Systems ✏️🏫

As both an intercultural trainer and a mom of two German children navigating the American school system, I deeply value my involvement in the school’s monthly PTA meetings. These meetings provide a unique opportunity for me to stay informed about what’s happening at school and actively contribute to shaping the school community.

For instance, I’m an active member of the school’s culture committee, which works to foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all children. We celebrate and respect the rich diversity of the school by organizing meaningful activities. For Global Diversity Month in October, for example, we planned engaging classroom activities for teachers, helping students understand and appreciate the importance of diversity.

While most of my clients come to me in a business context, it’s crucial to recognize how deeply cultural background and education are interconnected.
